Rajasthan Tour with Pushkar Festival

Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 01 Arrival at Delhi

    Tour representatives receive the tourists from the airport and are directed towards a chauffeur driven vehicle to the hotel. They check-in to the hotel and are informed about their next day plan. Tourists relax the day and halt the night at Delhi hotel. Tourists are to pay additional charges for pick up or drop at the guest hotel. They also need to bear in mind that extra charges would be charged for last minute booking and hence prior booking is important.

  • Day : 02 Delhi Sightseeing

    Tourists have a delicious breakfast and start for Delhi sightseeing along with a guide. The initial drive would be through Lutyen's New Delhi. Tourists can snap shots of the large and wide Rashtrapati Bhawan and India gate which is the landmark building of India. The next visit would be the gold domed Sikh temple called the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. This is one of the famous Gurudwara in Delhi and associated with Guru Har Krishnan. After completion of this place, tourists have their lunch in a multi-cuisine restaurant.

    Tourists drive to National museum after lunch which is also mentioned as the crown jewel of Indian's museum. The exhibits and artifacts amaze the tourists and they can get to know the history of the artifacts. The next visit during this sightseeing tour is the prominent Qutab Minar. The specialty of this medieval tower is that it is tallest with 239 feet. It is a gorgeous example and symbol of victory of the Persian architecture. The tower also has an irregular stairway which directs to the top of the tower which has a balcony. The Qutab Minar is listed under the UNESCO's World Heritage Site. After completion of Qutab Minar, tourists drive back to the hotel and halt the night at Delhi.

  • Day : 03 Delhi Sightseeing

    Tourists have their breakfast and start for their guided tour to other places in Delhi. Tourist first visits the Red Fort and snap photographs. The giant Red Fort is enclosed with sandstone walls owes a number of historical and architectural attractions. The Red Fort was once also mentioned as the 8th Wonder of the World. Red Fort was UNESCO's third World Heritage site and also Mughal Empire's seat for about two hundred and fifty years. Tourists can also go for a rickshaw ride or walk through the Chandni Chowk market. The market is filled with everyday requirements from spices to saris, street food stalls, spice markets and lot more. The next visit would be the Jama Masjid mosque, both the Red Fort and Jama Masjid was built by Shah Jahan. The Jama Masjid is the largest mosque which is also an example of the Mughal architecture. The Mosque was built using white marble and red sandstones. The largest mosque has a courtyard which can hold about 25000 people. Tourists are then led to lunch in the best multi cuisine restaurant.

    After lunch tourists are driven to Raj Ghat which is the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. The next place tourist's visit is the Humayun's tomb which has enormous amazing monuments. Once this site explores, tourists are dropped back at the hotel and they halt the night at Delhi.

  • Day : 04 Delhi to Agra (232.4 kilometers)

    Tourists drive through north India's newest highway towards Agra. By afternoon tourist has their rich lunch is one of the top restaurants. After lunch, tourists check-in to their hotels. They refresh and start for their first sightseeing the Agra Fort which is a red sandstone fort. This fort is listed as a World UNESCO site. It was the Mughal emperor Akbar who built Agra fort in 1565. The Mughal Empire gained its grandeur with its splendid courtyards, royal chambers, excellent audience halls, and marble mosque. The next visit would be to the Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Tourists can enjoy evening sunset which is an excellent view to watch. Taj Mahal is also a UNESCO heritage site and was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1653 A.D. The Mahal was built in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. About 22000 skilled craftsmen complete the white marble mausoleum in 22 years. Tourists enjoy Taj Mahal and others aspects, surroundings and halt the night at Agra hotel.

  • Day : 05 Agra to Ranthambore (293.4 kilometers)

    The next day tourists refresh and start to watch the magnificent sunrise at Taj Mahal. During the sun rise the various stones in Taj Mahal are illuminated and gleam as the color of the marble changes. After watching the sunrise, tourists get back to hotel have their breakfast, check out and start to Abhaneri. Tourists have their lunch at Abhaneri at an organic restaurant where all food items are natural and organic. After lunch tourists are led to beautiful Rajasthani village. They visit the giant 10th-century stepwell Chand Baori. The depth of the stepwell is equivalent to a seven storey building. The tourists can enjoy the guided adventure of the stepwell. Tourists can also walk about and capture the glimpse of the prestigious Rajasthani village.

    After this excited spot, tourists move towards Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore national park), the next part of the day is passed in rural Rajasthan where tourists can enjoy snapping shots. They halt the night at Ranthambore.

  • Day : 06 Ranthambore Sightseeing

    Mornings and evenings can be enjoyed with wildlife safaris in Ranthambore. Apart from safaris tourists are also planned and arranged to visit the Ranthambore fort. There are about 70 feet of stairs which are steep. The Hindu concept of Vana-Durg is an example presented by the fort and the fort is guarded by Jungle. Tourists halt the night at Ranthambore after sightseeing.

  • Day : 07 Ranthambore to Jaipur (180 kilometers)

    For the tourist who desires for additional safaris can complete safaris in the morning get back to the hotel, refresh and have their breakfast. Tourists start towards Jaipur after checking out from the hotel. They have their lunch after a break and start driving towards Jaipur. Tourists check-in to the hotel and relax for the day. They halt for the night at Jaipur.

  • Day : 08 Jaipur Sightseeing

    After breakfast tourists start to the Amber fort and the Palace which are listed on the UNESCO world heritage site. The big fort was built by Raja Mansingh who was the best example of Indian Rajput architecture. Tourists can view the splendid hallways and chambers which are ornamented with gorgeous design and trimmings which are handcrafted. By the afternoon tourists can go through bargaining experience at the main bazaar at Pink City. The next visit would be the Jantar Mantar which is also a UNESCO world heritage site and built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728. There are many instruments where the main highlight is the big sundial. The next place to view would be the Hawa Mahal which was built in 1799. The next visit would be the royal residence called the City Palace which follows a Mughal and Rajasthani architectural style. The complex also has a museum which presents a number of miniature paintings, costumes, armory and more. Return to hotel and halt the night at Jaipur.

  • Day : 09 Jaipur to Pushkar (142 kilometers)

    Tourists check out from the hotel and are led to Pushkar. They reach Pushkar by afternoon and check in to their hotel in Pushkar. By afternoon, tourists reach cattle trading fairgrounds and enjoy the camel ride. There is a big fair during this period and tourists can snap good shots and record rare videos too. Horses, camels and other cattle's are traded in this fair. By the end of the day, as the sun sets in this desert, tourists return to their hotel and halt the night.

  • Day : 10 Pushkar sightseeing

    After completing their breakfast, tourists can get to the fair and watch the villagers who get ready. Since this is a pilgrimage destination, there are a number of temples which can be visited by the tourists. Also, the holy lake amidst the town can be visited and tourists who desire can also take a dip in the lake as it washes away the sins. The next would be camel safari by the tourists which takes place in the semi-arid area of Pushkar. Return to the hotel by evening and halt the night at Pushkar.

  • Day : 11 Pushkar to Jodhpur (188.1 kilometers)

    After completion of appealing breakfast at Pushkar, tourists are transferred to Jodhpur. Tourists check in the hotel and explore the prestigious Mehrangarh Fort and snap shots of the beautiful place. The next place we visit is the Ummaid bhavan, the Jaswant thada, markets and clock tower. Tourists halt the night at Jodhpur hotel after dinner.

  • Day : 12 Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur (260 kilometers)

    Tourists check-out of the hotel and drive towards Udaipur which would be a picturesque drive. Once arrived in Udaipur, tourists can have their lunch after checking into the hotel. Relax after travel and halt the night at Udaipur.

  • Day : 13 Udaipur sightseeing

    Tourists complete delicious breakfast and start for city sightseeing at Udaipur. They visit the City Palace, with gorgeous decorated rooms, walls with handcrafted mirrors, olden ivory doors, peacock courtyard, and marble balconies. Views of the Lake Palace hotel, Lake Pichola, and Jag Mandir Island can be viewed. The other places to be visited are Udaipur solar observatory, Jaisamand Lake, and Dhebar Lake. Lunch is provided in the multi-cuisine restaurant and their drive to the streets to explore the markets in the small town. By late afternoon or evening, tourists can enjoy a cruise on Lake Pichola. After the day's enjoyment, tourists can halt the night at Udaipur.

  • Day : 14 Udaipur to Delhi (673 kilometers)

    Tourist's checkout from their hotel after breakfast and drive towards a small hilltop called Monsoon Palace which offers bird's eye view of scenic Udaipur. Tourists complete their lunch and are dropped at Udaipur airport to get their flights to Delhi. After arrival at Delhi, tourists get to their respective flights to reach their place. They fly back with unforgettable memories.
